Good to know: our ingredients.
millet
Millet is a grain that is an important staple food in many countries. Here, too, it has recently become more popular again and is often used in cooking thanks to its many beneficial properties. It provides many important nutrients, including numerous vitamins, minerals such as iron and magnesium, and trace elements. Millet is also naturally gluten-free, making it particularly suitable for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance. Millet is also beneficial for diabetics, as it lowers blood sugar levels and increases good HDL cholesterol.
buckwheat flour
Buckwheat is a pseudocereal (like amaranth or quinoa), has absolutely nothing to do with wheat, and is naturally gluten-free. It contains a lot of protein and starch and is sold as whole grain, groats, semolina, or flour. Because the flour can be used as an excellent alternative to conventional grain flours, it is particularly interesting for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance. It is particularly suitable for baking—whether bread or cakes.
Sunflower seeds
Sunflower seeds are harvested from sunflowers in autumn at the latest and are then the ideal healthy snack or suitable for further processing. They have a slightly nutty flavor and are particularly noteworthy for their healthy nutrients. In addition to magnesium – which, incidentally, they have the highest levels of among all nuts, seeds, and kernels – sunflower seeds contain plenty of fiber, unsaturated fatty acids, minerals, and protein. This is precisely why they are ideal for vegetarians and vegans.
