Products

Are all Isabella products gluten-free?

Yes, all Isabella products are made from high-quality, gluten-free raw materials. This allows us to eliminate contamination during production. Furthermore, we do not use gluten-free wheat starch.

In addition to gluten-free products, are there also vegan or lactose-free products?

Our products are not only completely gluten-free, but also largely vegan, and some are lactose-, corn-, milk-, yeast-, and sugar-free.

Where can I find the ingredients of a product?

All ingredients are listed in detail next to each product. Our small icons, which indicate whether a product is vegan or lactose-free, provide quick assistance in the product overview.

How long do Isabella products last?

The shelf life of a product depends on various factors. Therefore, we have listed the individual minimum shelf life under the product overview in our online shop.

How should Isabella's products be stored?

Optimal storage is ensured at room temperature and protected from light. However, it's even better to store the products in a cool environment, such as a refrigerator. You can also freeze the products immediately upon receipt. This will preserve their deliciousness even after months of storage.

How can I freeze the products?

You can freeze the products in the original bag or in a freezer bag.

What is the minimum shelf life of the products when frozen?

Once you've frozen our products, you can store them in the freezer for at least 6 months.

How can I bake my delivered products?

We've compiled helpful tips for baking in our baking instructions. You can find them at Baking Instructions.pdf

Alternatively, we've included baking instructions for your ordered product with your package. With these step-by-step instructions, you'll achieve your perfect product.

How do I bake frozen Isabella products?

It's best to thaw frozen products overnight in the refrigerator. If you need to thaw quickly, your product still needs at least 2 hours to thaw. Once thawed, your product can be prepared according to the baking instructions above.

Why can't Isabella's tarts and cakes be shipped?

Our cakes and tarts are small works of art and would not survive the journey unscathed. Furthermore, the cold chain cannot be maintained using the shipping methods offered.

How can I order a whole cake?

You can purchase our pastry products directly at all our locations. We also offer some tarts in various sizes as whole cakes and, upon request, can decorate them with a personalized inscription on a chocolate plate. Our colleagues on site look forward to your visit or call. However, we require a certain lead time for cake orders. Our colleagues on site will be happy to advise you on this.

Can I put together a product according to my wishes?

Due to our complex product development and production processes, we cannot offer customized products, for example, with modified ingredients. We are happy to provide advice and assistance with product selection.

How do I contact customer service?

What right of withdrawal applies to perishable goods?

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are subject to rapid perish or whose expiration date is quickly exceeded. Since these are food products, the order is binding, meaning that an exchange is excluded.

Orders

What is the process if I want to order a product?

Select one or more products and add them to your shopping cart. Then choose a shipping method, enter your address, and select your preferred payment method. You can find out more about your payment options here (link to point 8) . Now complete the payment, and your goods will soon arrive at your home.

Can I also place an order by phone?

We ask for your understanding that orders cannot be placed by telephone.

Can I add items to my already confirmed order?

Once your order is confirmed, the ordering process and payment are already complete, and your order goes into production. We cannot make any changes.

Can I also cancel my order?

Please feel free to contact us by phone or email, and we'll check whether a cancellation is still possible. This depends on whether the production and shipping process for your order can still be stopped.

We continually adapt our product range according to the season so that we can always offer our customers something new. To ensure we're always up-to-date, we use the internet exclusively for our online shop. What payment options do I have?

We offer a wide range of payment methods so that you can choose the option that is ideal for you.

Can I also transfer the amount to you through my bank?

Since we want to get your ordered products to you as quickly as possible, we cannot offer payment by bank transfer.

Are there vouchers available for purchase?

You are also welcome to order vouchers in our online shop. We offer two voucher options: the online voucher and the location voucher. Our online voucher can only be redeemed in the online shop and is sent by email to any desired recipient email address. Our location voucher, on the other hand, can only be redeemed at the selected location and is sent by mail as a gift card to a specific delivery address. The location vouchers are, of course, also available at our respective locations.

Can I also redeem my location voucher in the online shop or my online shop voucher at a location?

Due to the different billing formats, the respective voucher can only be used in the ordered voucher variant.

How can I redeem my voucher for the online shop?

Simply enter your voucher code in the designated field in your shopping cart. If the voucher code doesn't work, please contact our customer service.

Packaging and shipping

How are Isabella's products packaged?

We package all our bread and rolls in a protective atmosphere: In this process, the normal air is first extracted from the product packaging in a germ-free environment and replaced with a so-called protective gas. This consists of components that are also found in normal air. This packaging method limits product spoilage caused by microorganisms and the chemical processes they produce. This packaging process requires a high degree of precision and thus ensures impeccable quality.

Which shipping options can I choose?
  1. DHL Express Shipping – Our recommendation to ensure your order reaches you as quickly as possible.
    - The delivery time is about 1-2 days.
  2. DHL
    - Delivery time is approximately 2-7 days.​ Standard shipping

Please note that Saturday and Sunday deliveries are not possible for either shipping method.

How much does shipping cost?

We generally charge a shipping fee of €6.90 for standard shipping within Germany. If your purchase exceeds a value of €49, shipping is free* (only within Germany).

Shipping via DHL Express within Germany always costs 18.90 euros

*only applies to standard shipping within Germany

Do you also deliver abroad?

Shipping abroad is possible. Please note that some countries may charge customs duties and import taxes, which the respective country will bill you for.

Can I specify a preferred date?

Due to the complex production processes and the cooperation with an independent parcel service provider, requests for delivery on a specific date cannot be met.

Can I have my order shipped to an address other than the billing address?

During the ordering process you have the option to enter an individual delivery address.

Can I have my order sent as a gift?

We're happy to send gifts to your friends or business partners on your behalf. For this purpose, we offer greeting cards, which we include with your order on your behalf. You can add this greeting card, along with your desired message, to your shopping cart during the ordering process.

How and when are Isabella's packages shipped?

We ship orders daily from Monday to Friday. We do not ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays. Because we produce our products fresh daily, our bakery requires a certain amount of lead time to process orders. Therefore, we have defined time windows for incoming orders. Orders received before 12:00 PM can be processed the following day. Orders received after 12:00 PM will be handed over to DHL one shipping day later.

Notes on express shipping

Order times and the resulting shipping times are described under "How and when are Isabella packages shipped?" Therefore, if an express order is received after 12:00 PM on a Thursday, it will not be shipped until Monday. An express order received between 12:00 PM on Friday and 12:00 PM on Monday will not be shipped until Tuesday.

Delivery and collection

What is included in my package?

You'll find your ordered products and a corresponding delivery note in your package. We'll also include baking instructions specific to your order so you can bake and enjoy your delivered products right away.

Is an invoice included in my delivery?

Upon request, we will be happy to send you an invoice to the email address you provided when placing your order.

How long is the delivery time?

In our experience, the average delivery time is two days. However, there is no delivery time guarantee for standard DHL shipping, so delivery may take longer.

Where is my shipment?

Once your package has been shipped, you will receive your personal DHL tracking number. You can use this number at any time at www.dhl.de to check the shipping status of your package and find out when your ordered Isabella products will arrive.

I haven't received a tracking number. What can I do?

Can I pick up my parcel in Duisburg (administration and bakery)?

We are currently unable to offer this service. However, we are already working on a solution to be able to offer it in the future.

My delivery isn't OK. What can I do?

If there is something wrong with your order, please contact our customer service as soon as possible – we will find a solution together.
